Non Profit Give Back

Kirkwood Business Owners’ Association produces the annual Kirkwood Wine Stroll to raise awareness of the Kirkwood community as well as give back to local nonprofits and community projects. We are proud to announce our 2019 awardees doing good in our community. $15,000 has been awarded since 2016.  

2019 Awardees

Kirkwood Cares

To provide critical repairs to the homes of low income residents in Kirkwood.

Atlanta Clay Works

Workshops and Training for Refugees.  Art Project Volunteers for Foster Care  

Neighbor in Need, Inc. EAST LAKE

Assisting low income elderly within East Lake, Kirkwood and Edgewood communities to make emergency home repairs.

Veterans Empowerment Organization (VEO)

Providing immediate short-term housing for homeless veterans with wrap-around services to transition them to self-sufficiency.

Toomer Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Toomer Parent Rides will start 2019-2020 school year and will include money towards shuttles for events, UberX and Lyft credits for parents, and establishing a volunteer parent ride-sharing service. This project will serve an estimated 200 parents to ensure that they can get a ride to school events, conferences, or to pick up their child when he or she is sick.
